I worked for Uncle C from 1983 thru 2008. Left (retired) in late 2008 taking my pension $’s with me. Net worth of about 2.2 MM, not counting real estate.
CVX is no better or worse than most O&G companies.
Worked for 2 other O&G’s then retired in late 2019 with some independent consulting work.
Now worth about $6.5 MM not counting real estate.
Nice home in Houston paid off. Beach house on outer banks (NC for you mo–ns) paid off.
Best decision ever to leave CVX! To each their own.
