How do you say goodbye to something that’s been your life for years? How do you walk away from a place that’s taken so much of you—and given so little in return? I’m not just talking about a job. I’m talking about the pieces of myself I’ve sacrificed—my time, my energy, my health, and so many of the moments I’ll never get back. I gave everything for this company, and now they want to throw me away like it never mattered.
I’ve watched my colleagues, my friends, pour their hearts into this place. We’ve all stayed late. We’ve all skipped meals. We’ve all fought to keep this company afloat. And now, we’re being told that we’re not valuable anymore? That we’re just numbers? We deserve so much more than that.
You don’t get to take someone’s life and effort and call it ‘business as usual.’ You don’t get to break us like this and pretend it doesn’t hurt. Because it does. It hurts more than I can put into words.
But what hurts more than anything? Watching others stay silent, afraid to speak up. Afraid that their voices won’t matter. But they do. Our voices do matter. We are not just another set of employees to be replaced. We are human beings, and we will not be erased.
I will not sit back and let this happen to us. Not without fighting for every person who has given their all to make this company what it is. This is not just a job. This is our lives. And we deserve better than being cast aside like we’re nothing."
