Year i got hired in Women shoes in 2013 and i had 31 coworkers in sales with commission. I worked for 3 yrs and watched the numbers of coworkers drop. we went from 31 coworkers to 25 and by 2015 rolled around we was down to 20. The rumors started in 2015 of commission going and how if it did we would all leave to frolic in green pastures chasing rainbows . . 2017 we are now down to 12 coworkers. by 2020 ( despite pandemic) we had 8 people left.. today we are now standing at 2 people and one flex and no commission. so ask yourself this has it improved since 2013? NO !! around 2015 they also let go 13 managers in on year and replaced them with only half. 2022 you most likely had no more than 5 managers per levels for entire store. So now lets look at Loss prevention. Lp in 2013 had 10 guys by 2017 it had 5 now it has 3 . The position of yesteryear is AP manager ( gone) AP/ops (gone) sales supervisor ( gone) assistant store manager ( gone ) OPS/vS (gone) Now its every man for themselves in a free for all where everyone is doing everyone else's jobs.. so tell me this company isn't going under. #sears#kmart#bamburgers

2 A store that people think of as a place where they can get stuff for free. Thus, they complain like spoiled brats and try to cheat the store whenever possible, and when they are caught cheating and/or stealing, they scream and yell like 3-year-olds and treat the people working their like sh--.

Associate: Only hand tools are guranteed like that. Power Tools have moving parts, so they are only covered for a year. If you weren't a f---ing mo--n, you'd have read the side of the box where it says so.
3 sears- a place where no upper managment gives a c-ap about there fellow assioates. Thay pass you over for promotion over and over agin even know you deserve it and that could care less this is bs. thay make stupid look smart.
