@1twm Yet at the same time they ignored all of the employees wasting paid company time on there who were having non-work related discussions (and still are to this day). And some of those discussions are questionable in regards to being appropriate for the workplace. But an honest question about when somebody could come out to look at the heating system--no negativity, no insults, just the facts--is an offense of the highest order.
I was reprimanded for a very similar situation a couple years back. All I said was that our store needed tool chests, mechanics tool sets and specific tools and that it was a crying shame that we were missing out on potential sales (Fathers day, votech, etc), and asked if there was anyone who could look in to getting us some more and that I have customers and the recaps to back it up, but they don't want to buy online. If I remember right, I directed it to #invhelp and somebody up the chain complained to the store manager. I never felt so insulted yet some yahoos regularly get away with talking about getting drunk--or worse--on a company forum.
You gotta love this ridiculousness.
