Welcome to the meat grinder, the fire drill, whatever you want to call it. They don't care about you. The system will chew you up and sp-t you out. Learn what you can and take the knowledge, improve your resume, and get the heck out. A company that fires thousands of knowledgeable people while they were simultaneously hiring huge numbers of Edison engineers, proves that there is no loyalty and there is plenty of other unethical behavior going on all over the place. Hey, you better sign off on this nonconforming part because there are thousands that have shipped etc. What a mess. Discriminate against the workforce (mainly age) and bring in new.
