Heard from a GE upper, that a Houston wide consolidation is on the table. Lower oil prices makes this move feasible. All Houston area facilities will relocate to one main place. 2017 is the target date.

I spoke with someone at the GE OIL & GAS (Hydril Manufacturing Plant) today and 39 hourly people got let go today!

OKC office getting hit now. Multiple departments, people being walked out the door.

Emails have went out and they are letting people go. I don't know how many people they are going to let go. All I know is that it is happening. I have heard this will continue until March. Monday's are the favorite day to layoff employees.
