Do you think that GateHouse Media / Gannett Merger will result in many layoffs? I see IT, HR and finance impacted... Anyone else?

The Columbus dispatch is going to lay off 30 Pressman within the next 90 days Mail room layoffs also just don’t have the numbers

But nobody is brave enough to share this. The media is not covering it.

We will see what happens next but you cannot expect much except layoffs and job cuts for Gatehouse Media. I left in 2014 and it's still bad but I wish all the best for all folks who are still there. I hope things turn around and that the management... — read more 

Thins are getting worse and worse, nobody likes working here, in my opinion. Get out if you can, that's my advice
