Do you know what kind of severance packages are being offered this time? I work in IT but if you do not have IT values any value regarding severance would be very appreciated.

Each country has it's own laws
The Target Canada severance package is different and will have to follow local laws, in Canada it will be 16 weeks of pay.
Anonymous66174 - I agree with this, 10 weeks plus one week per FULL year of service, capped at 6 months
My understanding from extensive research (no joke) is that standard practice is 10 weeks plus 1 week for each year employed.
