Employment laws in Europe are far more biased to the employee than in the US, so for most European employees there will be "consultation periods" and then notice periods before anyone is actually terminated.
UK and Ireland staff received their notification of being "at risk" yesterday with consultation starting today.

Some groups have been told that the layoffs are finished for that group. Other groups have been told nothing.
From Ftl support building they finished no more ppl kicked out
From FTL they started as early as 9am EST and expecting to end by 5pm EST. There's another round of layoffs expected tomorrow as well.

The is no info about how long this is going on. We'll surely see other layoffs tomorrow as they are proceeding according to local legislation in the various countries. Who knows is under NDA and they can't share anything :(
