Managers here in Kingwood have not addressed Bernard's memo or the layoffs that we all know are happening. They continue to have numerous closed door meetings daily while we all walk on egg shells. I just wish they'd be honest and let us all know what's coming down the pipeline.
HR and Houston not making the list of who to let go. Managers are doing it. HR just has the shitty job of delivering the message. Will likely see a lot of HR let go after they've ben used for this.
Ampscot in Nisku is likely going to be closing within the year.
I was told it was corporate making the list. But I don't know if the direct managers have a say. They said that the supervisors didn't find out untel the day before which I don't believe.
Is HR doing the layoffs, or do managers have a say so as to who gets laid off?
Does anyone know if they are done laying people off at St. James? My manager hasn't addressed the situation at all and people have been nervously waiting for the last few weeks to see if our group gets hit.
Doing layoffs in Edmonton (PC Pump/Corod). Good luck all.

Good luck to the good WFT employees who will get the Axe today or in the coming days. Everyone knows about the little groups at WFT who take care of each other. If you are not in one, you're most likely on the chopping block.
Gimme a break.
Same here! Already looking for work! Not gonna be a sitting duck!
I've already put in six job applications elsewhere, just this evening. Whether I get laid off or not, I'll be leaving my facility. I'm not going to wait around and pray I keep my job at this round of layoffs or the next, should it occur.
Let us all hope that, "The sky is falling."
