Work at Tifton DC, the racks are empty and saw a rather large transfer going to another DC. Inventory scheduled for February. Just had inventory in August. Been with company 15 years...Any insight?

Anyone have any ideas of when we will hear something concerning the DC's that are in question?
we've already seen layoffs in tifton. the same signs are showing now as they did when they laid off the computer room and the transportation team. nobody trust or believes the exec team at the dc anymore. they have fake smiles and no morals. this is the leadership target wants for the company. everyone is noticing all of the new execs coming in and the senior gls being moved out. people should make a plan. if target catches you off guard with a dc closure it is your fault.
We had a meeting that said the DC will not close. I believe target because they are always truthful. They pink promised and everything! They look out for all of our best intrest and they are honest and care about our team and the impact a closure would have on families. They always put people over money because target is the best company ever!
I have heard "discussion" of a summer closing in Georgia and an early 2016 closing in Virginia. That particular region is overly saturated with Distribution Centers and allows for a safe cost reduction from Canada without significantly impacting the supply chain.
Tifton is not a food only warehouse (no frozen or cold, only dry goods). We cover stores in Florida, I am not sure of exactly how many. I suspect it is going to be closing. They just did some remodel on break rooms, maybe to put them back the way they were when they first leased the building.
Looking at your warehouse location and looking at Target Store locations I bet your closing shop.
is Tifton a food warehouse? how many stores do they cover?
