Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Man, one of my neighbors is a Senior Staff Engineer and another is a Director, and they have a great executive health plan...

They were talking to me about it how in years pasted, free massages, and a $4000-5000 extra bonus for any medical/dental/eye/health credit..That was on top of an already good healthcare plan that is managed by United Healthcare..

(Qualcomm self insures, and only uses UHC to administer it)...

They were complaining some of it was cut, but that perk still exists and looks pretty darn good to me....

I wonder how many of you lower level workers are going to get laidoff as a result of these extra perks...

Agreed with 59867. The author of this thread should go to socialism country and not capitalism country.

I'm going to try to explain this at a 3rd grade level for you. The higher up you go, the more everything you get. That is called incentive and motivates us to work hard to move up. Your comment comes across as socialist as opposed to capitalist. Know what market you are in so you can play the right game.

having kids is a personal choice.. no one forces anyone to have kids.. take that out of the conversation
