It seems as though tomorrow Friday Jan 23 will begin the Weatherford layoffs. Watch for more security personnel tomorrow morning.

I replied with the meeting post before. It wasn't a layoff discussion after all, it was a "you suck because you lost "x" amount of money last year".

Rumours say that 20% of workforce has to go. Managers are supposed to hand in spreadsheets with names this week.

Check the date of the post.........it was made on Thursday. No one is getting laid off on a Saturday......Lol!

Any word on Canadian operations? It is awfully slow here.
Either way we can agree it is within the week. All the managers had a troubled look on their faces today as if they had either just farted or had just heard that it is a go. Their faces and general behavior spoke volumes. Hopefully there was a plume of something I didn't smell.
