My manager met with engineers and told them rather than layoff anyon he wants to make smart cuts to get us through. This includes overtime, being wise with what supplies we do have, limit expensing things and a few other things. I like him he's a great guy but unfortunately I think it's a matter of time before he gets the pimp hand from the big blue hand of dysfunction. So as of now no layoffs (yet)

Good luck Wireline NE - it looks like you are lucky and that you have a great manager. Again, as you said, not sure if this will work out but the guy is trying hard and should be given credit for that.
