I was unlucky enough to overhear a conversation between two managers. It seems that Weatherford will be looking into political affiliations of their employees. If you are known to position yourself with the democratic party (The party of our present commander in chief) Then you will move to the top of the list for layoff.

This is absurd. WFT is the most PC company I have worked for in a long time. And I have been in the oil field for 25yrs. This just sounds like more liberal fearmongering.
Im sure it is a joke, It is pretty funny though(Gave me a chuckle), If you take half of whats on this board without a grain off salt you got problems.
