They just fired 20 guys in my office last week - each one was separately escorted out of the building to their cars without any notice - some of them were +20 years in the company and high performers. This was purely a cost decision
The humiliation for some of the people was unbearable - it's not finished yet either as Kibsgaard said on the con call he is ready to go again if needed
That said some of these guys walked into jobs with a competitor company who is taking advantage of good people becoming available on the market
Perhaps if kibsgaard and some of his management team were prepared to take temporary pay cuts some of our people could be retained for when business improves and we would be able to respond much quicker
