At our "sucks-to-be-you" meeting - held by a monotone finance guy - we were told around 600 and the company will rely on attrition for the balance. The point being to bring operating costs down. Considering how poorly some current jobs are being managed and run, my bet is there will be another round when the next milestones are missed. (Why they don't get rid of the under performers and back fill with good people is beyond me.) Oh wait no it's not, bean address real problems - they only do simple addition and subtraction with a presentation to gloss things over...

I worked in Toronto, that's all I'll say. I was cut. My point was supposed to be that there are lots of marginal workers (who weren't fired)still working hard as hell doing the wrong things; and they will never meet schedule the way the jobs were originally planned. They just can't.
