Looks like Target is doing the same predicable patterns. A corporate layoff in October with a bigger corporate layoff in January. I think I will get my résumé ready for the next round.

By this time last year, rumors were FLYING ALL OVER about a huge corporate layoff at Target. Those rumors don't seem to be going around this year. People are still talking about the possibility of there being a layoff, but there's a lot less "chatter". Meaning, there's none of the "all the leaders have a private appointment meeting that just got scheudled" or "my friend is an HR admin assistant, and her boss just had to give a list of poor performers". It's been quiet.
Just announced they are closing the McHenry Illinois store in January.
