This company has some fing nerve. First they spring this bullshit furlough crap on everyone and then they have the fing nerve of sending this fing useless regional vp to our campus for the past couple of weeka from a fing school that is not even open anymore and she is running up a hotel bill rental car bill and her meals from real nice places paid for while the little people in the trenches have to scramble to figure out how we are going to pay our rents this month. Fing pathetic. That is y this company is in the condition its in. All the money they have squandered over the years with these regional douchebags that all they do when they come is run up expense reports and sit on their little laptops all day sending and reading emails. Fing pathetic!!!

You are right about these VP's and AVP's from Everest. CCI Purchased an expensive VCU (Video Conferencing Unit) to help eliminate travel expenses. They come to our facilities and hide in guest offices. Its basically a vacation from their sites and spouses......

You're right bro. These regionals are worthless and a total waist of money. They're the reason that for profits are under so much scrutiny, with their greedy, bonus driven salaries, they have no interest but their own. Management should be campus based only and paid salary only. No bonuses

I completely agree! I say the same thing every time they bring CB down here for weeks at a time. She stays in a hotel, drives around her rental car, and eats out... I don't know what else she does because she certainly does nothing for us here in the office. She quit and moved out of state, that was her choice. Why they ever brought her back on the payroll and fly her into town from time to time is a complete mystery to me.
Well...bitterman has a point. There are way too many layers of management. They need to lay more of them off, especially in the online academics department. We don't need PD's breathing down our necks to do our coursework.
Maybe we need it to keep us doing the crap outreach efforts for the SOS program. What's funny about the outreach is that if anything it had a counter effect on student participation and failing the courses.
