Hello to all,
It brings me regret that I am no longer with the company. I wish you all the best in all of your future endeavors. But before I go, I feel that I must share a few experiences with you. Though I may have only been a here a short time, I have seen a lot change in company image and moral. Well lets bring those to light shall we!!
First of all the leadership team is horrible! I seriously have no idea how 80% of those people got their job other than being part of the good ole boy system.
By the way Bre, I know you got fired from your job at Westwood because you couldn't produce... how you got a director position is beyond me, considering you don't even know how to operate most of the systems and components, let alone managing a team successfully is mind altering! How about a you change everything you are doing like: Stop brow beating employees, get off your personal cell phone and become a leader not just a face behind the desk, learn the programs (campus vue and talisma) instead of telling your team to ask another person. Just as a thought it might be smart for you to take some management and leadership courses. Maybe then you wont have a team that is divided, in 70% of the team distrusting and not accepting you as a leader. In the matter of attendance lets talk about how you and some other members will come in late, leave early, stay after and you don't bat an eye, but if it is someone that is not in your inner circle it is an occurrence even though there was prior notification and approval.
While I have enjoyed my time (in the beginning) here at Everest. I have seen a great many faces turn to cold, dark and bitter people, here is why. While the company has gone through its changes with lying to the government about the placement numbers (who does in fact fund over 85% of company), to our leadership not telling us what's really going on but " this is all we have to share", to not knowing if we are going to get paid because CCI doesn't know how to pay its bills, to not knowing from one day to the next if we will have jobs because of "voluntary time off" to "Forced Furlough." While in some aspects a few leadership members want to tell us the truth or so we hope, but overall as a whole they are too scared because at this point it is robbing Peter to pay Paul. Simply put the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing... its sad and pathetic.
I have a few questions for the "so called leadership"
-
Why does CCI consistently hide behind the motto "Changing students lives"? Really!?!? You are more along the lines of ruining them, for they will forever be in debt because of the OUTRAGEOUS prices charged, 65k+ for a Bachelors!! is ridiculous. All CCI is doing is undermining the people that attend the school. Taking advantage of the lower-middle to low income families and in all fairness with PREDATORY tactics, the whole grass is greener on the other side, CCI can promise you the world but can give you little but a mountain of debt.

Was the voluntary time off or furlough really needed? Did this action come along because CCI couldn't pay their bills?? In question the lawsuit that was filed because of back rent at the home office? Or the fact you didn't pay the bill for the "security" at the COS location? Or was it because all of the money that CCI made had suddenly dissipated and are now making "justifiable" or "cost saving measures" to compensate for the money that we seemingly don't have. Why is is that everyone on the low end of the totem pole has to pay and suffer more for something that our "leadership" is PAID to take care of.

Will CCI ever really tell what is going on? One moment it is yes everything is fine to Title 4 and VA funding being cut off to voluntary time off to forced furlough! We are told we are in a transition to being sold but that's all the details you are willing to give, is there something you have to hide? Most people in this company have families to support, and simply cannot survive on the notion on whether or not they will have a job tomorrow. The fact that CCI continues to practice these actions, is immoral and pathetic. Get up off your high horse leadership and fess up that you screwed up! You might be able to sleep better at night... might...
But here we are at the end of a short lived journey. I am discouraged on one side but happy on another knowing that I will no longer be part of this malicious magnanimous refuse of a company anymore.
CCI new motto
"We Are Better Than You"
