Thread regarding DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. layoffs

Strike four or strike five now for the creative leadership? Who gets laid off in the artistic ranks to keep the same ol layers of leadership?

With a BA in economics which she earned only months ago, after heading the Buena Vista straight to video industry of the Disney Machine, Ann Daly is spearheading a similar film quality methodology of crap which should go straight to video. Best use of a crappy BA ever, she is a genius of personal economics, nice salary.

Who's that person?

DW has the same person running things who created the sequels division at Disney, bastardizing its IP and sending the brand tumbling for years. All for short term dollar gains. She continues to make the same choices at DW, confusing audiences in the same way. Nobody can be surprised by the companies challenges and signs of weakness. We pay for this year after year now - in fear we'll be posting a our own lost job.

Couldn't agree more. They continue to stay bloated with so much management it will inevitably sink our ship.

Cry me tears (NOT!) but DW is a goner. The slide that started back in 2012 continues picking up speed. Guardians, Turbo, P&S, Penguins.. Yes, Dragon 2 was an exception, but a company does not run on occasional, unpredictable flukes.

They got rid of great, exceptional people for no effing good reason.. Karma is a beyotch :)
