sure wish they would let us know their plans on closing SDO's. I am thinking it's coming sooner than later. Scanners and batteries and chargers are crap and no attempt to replace them. After hear about other closures around the country I was sure we could at least get some much needed replacement trucks, now I hear the the trucks were sold to outside companies, to me this is a huge red flag.

In the peak of 2011.. How many SDO's did Staples have?
At the sdo that is attached to sales office I work in the driver's were let go about 2 weeks ago. The trucks have been slowly given out to 3rd party companies.
There's around 35 left
Less than I thought.. Here in the Carolinas.. they've closed SDO's all around us.. gives you a very uncomfortable feeling...
Anon50653 - there were around 50 - 55 at the beginning of this year, not sure how many are left now.
How many SDO's does Staples have? And how many SDO's have closed as of today? I've know of 21...
The writing is on the wall, same as for retail. It's not if but when. Start making alternate plans now.
