I have taught at three colleges, private and public, non-profit and for profit. I've had many directors and deans. I have never seen a director work so little.
Also he and Tim (campus president) are terrible about disseminating information. There is almost no good communication happening.
I just discovered this site recently, and really wish I hadn't. This post is low. I usually don't work closely with Jerry, but did so recently, and the guy does a good job, and doesn't deserve to be called out like this.
You have issues. Anyone who anonymously slanders another on a site like this is a coward. Go to HR or your Reg. vP of Ops if you truly believe you have a case
359 I'm sure he's glad that someone likes him. Jerry Doty lucked out when he got his position. He is not responsible for the CCI crap but he certainly has destroyed department morale and his communication skills are very poor. Maybe Darren Gold can coach him on mile-away-behaviors. If the campus is lucky j. doty will follow in d. gold's footsteps and LEAVE. And before you reply that I must have gotten into trouble with Doty let me say that I did not. This is not a revenge post or a grudge. He is just a shitty leader. Maybe he is a nice person but a piss poor director.
