I don't think so. That being said, if we're hoping the next decision or proclamation is going to be better than the those from the preceding 24 months, you're either delusional or you think this thing has finally hit bottom. Where do you stand? Why? What has management done right?

Say it like it is - labor optimization. That really means layoffs and then understaffed at stores serving customers and schools.
Innovation would be great if we knew of any effectively in the pipeline. Perhaps it's a case of 'need to know' but lacking any information allows for fear and paranoia to sweep an organization. Right now it's inaction that seems policy, unless one considers 'labor optimization' to be innovation. That idea's been tried a lot though, seems to be what keeps this board busy.
Do schools know that Follett is outsourcing so much of their workforce? I believe this would be an issue for them since they are educating the future work force. Start making it now. Hundreds of jobs outsourced and more to come.

Management is weak at best and absent at worse. Management does not exhibit any operational knowledge or creativity to be a leader for a specialty retailer like follett. The severe workforce reduction simply cut costs while simultaneously destroying customer service and employee morale resulting in lost sales. Outsourcing IT is costly and ineffective. New software does not work and old software is getting slower and crashing frequently due to lack of adequate maintenance.
