Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Is this really a serious thing?

Tno has been more if a failure than the intro to canada. Missed loads, plenty if pissed off stores, LOST logistics experience due to the layoffs of perfectly fine capable people who were just doing thier jobs and did i mention pissed off stores. There is NO way we can service the stores like the dc's did. How can we judge store deliveries from thousands of miles away? Who was the idiot behind this stupid decision? This will not get better. If you are at a store just bear with us. We didnt create this problem, we just applied.

All because they wanted to be more efficient, that's why they took my job. They gave my job to people who have a quarter of the responsibilities who had no clue what they were getting into. Where I work, the TSS is the most dis-functional team in the warehouse, blaming each other, asking for the quick fix not the solution from previous techs. How was this supposed to work, oh ya no one remembers because HQ has changed their minds too many times since then.. # disappointment

TNO I think stands for Transportation Network Optimization(?).

I work at a DC and it is a joke. The TSS team is so overwhelmed, plus their team has been downsized. They are expected to do the trucks, cover security, answer all the phone calls and who knows what else. Security is a joke - I have seen our HR ladies being called to "man the front desk" and let people in, greet them and then figure out what to do with them. Nobody seems to know exactly what is going on, trucks are backed up and loads are being directed to the wrong DCs/Stores by HQ.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the TSS start looking for new jobs. This is not what they were hired for! We are just waiting for that big security breach to happen and hit Target's profit and then maybe someone will wake up and rethink TNO.

Plus no bag checks? Of course you want to trust your employees, but we know product is walking out the door.

What is tno? From your description... Sounds like another decision made by people who only react to numbers on a piece of paper and refuse to consider reality.
