Out of respect for this person and the family members, I'll not yet (if ever at all) say who it was. They was sent home again today, which set off some kind of depression, wondering where they'd get rent money or feed their kids. I hope management is happy that there's one less person on the payroll.

You're all part of the problem. You will just whine and cry no matter what, always complaining but doing nothing about it. If you were any kind of people and if things are sooooo bad, why don't you just leave?
Better performers never get sent home? That's not true. The girl next to me was doing very well Sunday and got released early. I struggled, yet made it through the day.
You're going home because you suck at the job. Do you ever see the good performers sent home? Face it, you're miserable because you suck at your job. The "preacher man" is telling you the truth, you're just too foolish to get the hint.

That's tragic. I'm so sorry for the kids especially. Cold-hearted employers never fully realize the impact of their greed. Or they just don't care.
