Thread regarding Strategic Fundraising layoffs

THE END IS NEAR ... OR IS IT?

It's been said on here that this is an election year and your company is lacking lists to call. Yes, this is a major problem. Here's what could be the sign of whether or not your two remaining centers survive. The states that haven't already conducted primary elections will do so in August and September. If there isn't an increase in political business after that -- the Party, PACs, individual candidates, etc. -- and/or some very large charities, you're toast. The thought in this business is that Utah plans to gradually transition all clients to their existing centers. I hope it isn't so. Strategic Fundraising had a stellar reputation under Dan Rice. Call Assistant is not at near that level of respect. Some of the tricks it's been known to pull hurt all of our standings with the general public. And we all know that's already a tough one.

To the poster: Thank you for recognizing that Dan Rice's Strategic was a reputable fundraising company. In my days there weren't perfect by any means, but we tried hard. And unlike the CEO of the new parent company, Mr. Rice was never sued by AT&T and several state attorneys general for data mining. https://stoptomwithhomeprotection.wordpress.com/2012/05/15/att-unable-to-stop-subscriber-database-theft-300-million-names-and-numbers-may-have-been-harvested/#more-328

Dead carp on the shore is a brilliant term for the future of Strategic Fundraising. I'm sure some company suck-up will make a post in disagreement. So come on, ass kissers, give us some solid evidence to the contrary.

Scott, it is worse now than it has ever been. Be glad you're gone. I am looking desperately for something else.

Strats toast they are to stupid to understand times change you can't keep getting land line list from 12 years ago hello they are all dead and if not dead they can't hear and don't care for sure day open up the check book and pay to get modern phone #s and here is another good idea throw the scripts away and hire politics junkies with passion like me and raise some money I am speaking from the cheap seats after the 2008 election was fired after a year of calling than they hired me in 2012 same thing fired at Xmas time. They fire the best callers because we bonus they want 8.00 per hour scrip readers that can't bonus if the RNC and other groups knew they fired me twice with my performance numbers start would have been gone 2 years ago don't worry they are dead carp laying on the shore line wondering how to get bac in the water

I think all companies like yours need to go out of business. You prey upon the elderly to guilt them out of their money. Your people may not be the lowest of the low, but you're damn close.
