Layoffs in KRK seem to be over (for now, nobody knows for sure...). Majority of them took place at Wednesday 01/08/14; people laid off at later date were those at their VAC/SLs. Not all teams were affected; those, who I know of, lost 2-3 developers average. The time of employment looked like a major factor deciding if one was laid off or not - the other one was being a contractor. (I repeat: this seems to be true for KRK only, criteria for DFW stay unclear).
On some Polish sites there were some rumors the layoffs were a result of Sabre's plans of going public.
