Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Cost optimization ? Even removing duplicate role also in a way is cost optimization.If cost is objective then still I see in Target India so many promotion in KMG layer without any significant performance /achievement ??, in fact failed project/ program at times ??? , at that level and that salary ( Actually cost) , is not that unnecessary cost ? At the end what ever name we give, Optimize model, duplicate role bla bla bla, every thing is money n cost.
