I didn't think to include arguments like the ones that followed mine because it never occurred to me this mindset existed. The layoff is definitely happening because everyone thinks it is? I believe the Jan 15 date because I heard it from team members before I saw it on this site? Huh? Anyway, it's true that lots of people are scared, mostly from reading this site, but they are still getting things done. And no, people being scared of rumors does not legitimize the rumors.
