Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Target choose to open its ODC at Bangalore thinking of making good gains, but forgot to vusualize that people will kill it. None of the leaders have passion to carry forward this center. Every leader is concerned about the fat pay target is paying. Software development Center is a technical one and our leadersip team does not know this. Ask them to sit and code one screen / zcript they sill run. Mind you these people have a great say in hiring or about technology. A good example is COE Concept. Everyone agree to the definition as Center of excellence. It should be headed by an able person whose is hardcore technical person and also strong manager. But here there don't know the technology but are leaders of the coe. Just do some stupid initiatives and get promoted. One has become a director other became group manager and one more was sent to MPLS as inpat. The outcome of this is Target is laying off people as all this has failed. Laidoff people are plp reporting to these directly or indirectly. But these plp are safe..god save target
