Heard Target India has Ambulances , External Security/Consultants (goons!) today.in office .35 Lay-ed off today 10/10/13 . People are called to room to notify them of release and some people are called to be informed that they are safe. No severance package given. Vendor (TCS/INFY/WIPRO) teams have enjoyed the money of Target courtesy dumb Management layer across locations. Now the poor employees are paying the price. They had bad billing/estimation scrutiny so Vendors milked like hell (especially TCS) . HR took money from candidates/consultants to recruit and made excessive recruitment's...Now they talk of reductions.
