Everybody is missing the key weakness of the new management. People Skills. That is why the layoff blew up in their face. That is why people are leaving. They are not good with people and they treat them poorly. Need an example, Bella and the infamous IT meeting where she took the microphone from Vin and lectured an associate in front of IT after THEY asked for questions. Did anybody see them at Celebration Station mingling with the people? Did Bella greet you or perform a quick walk around at the 2012 Holiday party? Has any of them taken the lead on a charity event? Have they set up an employee reward system yet? Did they make the 2013 best IT places to work for the 9th time in a row? Just look at the posts here. If they had stronger people skills, people would have accepted it better. The business has to live or everybody loses, but you can perform the actions in a moral way, be upfront and honest. Treating people poorly and getting caught in lies (Wiregrass and the "duplicated positions" layoffs) is a quick way to lose employee trust and loyalty. It will take a while, if ever, they get back to the employee dedication levels they once had.
