to amazed in it--you're totally right. remember the story they used to always share? this company started because bob james was walking down the road and ran in to a former associate. asked how she was and she replied she had just been "let go" by her firm. he said any firm that would let an associate that good go clearly didn't know what they were doing and so they started the mutual fund business. just like in The Good Earth, the sons reject the honor of the father and sell out for greed.
