Based on the maturity/intelligence of some people on this board who claim to be CHK employees, I'm thinking some cuts might not be so bad. Absurd. Look, I'm one of those people who loves working here. No where else I've been even comes close in terms of the overall package. Even with some perks going away, it will still be one of the best places to work in the state. I hope I make the cut.
As for Doug, I get that people want to make him out to be a villain. Aubrey was amazing in that he cared for his employees and the community more than he cared for the bottom line. As nice as that was, it is not sustainable for a publicly traded company. Doug was hired to do a job, and he's doing what's needed to right the ship. I've never personally met the man. I've just been in the town halls. I just don't think he is evil, and I like his vision of the future. I, for one, am a Chesaperson as long as they'll have me.
