Thread regarding Raymond James Financial Inc. layoffs

well it has been a few weeks. Let me tell you what it is like to work in IT today. It used to be that the parking lot had many cars in it at 6, 7PM. Today it is empty at 5PM. Wonder how much RJ has lost in peoples loyalty and no longer caring what happens. Sure they saved the 15-20 million with the job eliminations but look at what they lost in peoples willingness to put in that extra effort. Does anyone believe anyone is going to go out of their way for this new data center that is a catastrophe waiting to happen. I still like my job but it is now only an 8 hour day instead of 10 and the work will wait for another day. I haven't seen any bonuses or even heard of anyone getting anything extra. Wasn't it Vin in his first big meeting that said he was doing a top down review of the reward system. Must be done and eliminated.....oh well....time will tell
