Thread regarding Gap Inc. layoffs

It's never safe at GAP - things change every month and things change constantly. I really liked working here when I started almost 10 years ago, there was growth, there was a ton of positions that were opening internally, limitless opportunities. Today, things are different, more stagnant, more corporate, more rigid and GAP today looks very much different. I still like many very sharp folks who work here but with time the quality of people we are hiring keeps dropping, the brand has less allure and to be frank both comp and perks are not as good as they used to be. Do not get me wrong, I still think GAP is a great company to work for!
