“Very Low Morale at Harris CapRock - especially for legacy CapRock Coms staff!”

Current Call Centre Account Manager in Perth, Western Australia (Australia) – Reviewed Feb 7, 2013 – New

Pros – Although we are taught that the USA and places like Australia are quite technology backwards, where people drink a lot and are quite racist, this has not been my experience so far! We are taught very well, to sound and know about American or Australian clients and just speak slowly to people who call up and if they have difficulty understanding us, or we have difficulty understanding them, we can refer them to our supervisor, who speaks better English and has more experience.

Cons – Unfortunately many of the people who set up the company and ran it very well, have been and continue to be ‘pushed out’ or made redundant, with long (6 to 9 month) restraint clauses making it difficult for them to find a job elsewhere and little or nothing in the way of severance packages, as Harris CapRock continues to try and reduce cost of the business and reduce competition by the people being ‘pushed out’ joining their competitors.

Advice to Senior Management – Morale is very low for a lot of the people who have been working at Harris CapRock (particularly legacy CapRock Communications staff) seeing their long-term colleagues and friends treated this way, at the same time as legacy Stumberger employees being promoted into these positions! More needs to be done to address legacy CapRock Communications staff moral! (http://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Harris-CapRock-Reviews-E467924.htm)
