People saying "I glad those people were laid off", or "Maybe I'm good at what I do, and that's why I was not laid off" are idiots. Only an idiot would say something like that. I think that idiots were kept because the idiot managers who make the decisions like to be surrounded by more idiots. It starts with the top idiot, the DST Output president, hiring idiots on his staff for this reason. They in turn hire more idiots to work for them, and so on down the line. Once in a while, the idiots "screw up" and hire someone who is competent, hard working, has integrity, and collaborates with others. Not to worry though, those competent workers are soon gone with each round of layoffs, and the idiots are kept. This is how it works at DST Output.
