Thread regarding Dynegy Inc. layoffs

Sorry, but I have to ask did you work for pizza pizza because it seems to me that all the training/resume building went out the window when he arrived. The only thing pizza pizza prepared people for was to not take a job if your boss will be a little guy that walks around with his chest puffed out and has an ego bigger life . I don’t know what rock you live under or what little office you hide in waiting for your bonus but from control operators to yard men to mechanics to results techs to technicians these plants can run with minimal supervision . Each of the people in these trades were not trained by a manger or supervisor they were trained by other co-workers in that trade that worked here for many years becoming a master at what they do. Kind of like a family or as we call it a UNION . This union negotiated a good wage, benefits and pension that kept these people working here and sharing their work skills with the new hirers. Working here has been good but if its over its over we will all move on and find new jobs . The end of Dynegy does not mean the end of our lives as some of the managers at Dynegy think!
