Any other Field Ops or BMO techs being moved to different areas, reporting to new SRO's and being told "If anybody asks, tell whoever asks "it's just a change in reporting structure" and don't elaborate and play it off as no big deal? This is happening right now in mid-atlantic.

I am right there with you. I was told my position was being eliminated and the had a job for me in CST. Then, they tried tobget me to give them an answer in two days. I demanded a week. No package and no unemployment if i didn't take the deal, because they offered me another position.
I had to accept. Where do you find another job in a week? Now, like the other person, it has been almost a month and not a word. Nobody knows anything. And, don't tell your coworkers because this is all happening at a high level and even the SROs don't know. Yeah right.
So, i polished my resume and sent a bunch out. No thanks CST, i don't think so. And as far as CTL, what a bunch. Give me your life changing answer in two days, but I can't tell you when you are leaving, even after weeks.
BSTs and Field Ops Techs being cut right now. Some offered different positions, some not. No packages. Unemployment if you don't take the offer. Big secret. Don't talk or else. Best part, they can't even tell you when your last day will be.
Well good luck with "making it worth your while" dude, cause that ain't happening. And there is no severance if you opt out.
I've heard they are posting this in Mid Atlantic regions. And the BSTs that have been moved were non union so far. Personally I would welcome the change and responsibility, if they make it worth my while.
I was switched from a BST III to a National Field Ops Tech II without a word from anyone. I know of a dozen others too. Never told not to say anything, we were just never told anything.
I didn’t get moved but my title changed and nobody told me!!!
No. But they just canceled our “OnCall” pay, which is nearly $5k annually.
