On a serious note, my partner and I are looking to buy a new townhome soon, as soon as I come back from paternity leave... just getting caught up with this news and was discussing with him (my partner) last night. Is now a good time to put a down payment and take the plunge and get a huge loan? I believe my job is steady at SWN, but the bank wants me to have a steady job. Will there be layoffs soon? My partner and I really want to do this, but we can’t afford to be jobless with a huge mortgage payment. I was awarded some money from my last company for wrongful termination. I wouldn’t want to have to take my beard trimmer to the pawn shop.

Congratulations to all those who received well deserved mid year bonuses. I was not one of the lucky ones I guess. I checked my bank again, and there was no bonus deposited. Oh well. Thought maybe it was a mistake. Good to see the egg frittata back in the Market breakfast lineup!

I’m in the northeast and did confirm a small bonus check. I don’t use a bank so my boss left an envelope with a check in it. I’ll get it cashed later. Nice stuff. We must have been hittin our numbers. Safety has been good to. Only 4 recordables in May. Improving.
I seen the deposit in my check account too. But not five figures. But I’ll take it. That’s the good stuff.
Some of my co workers are planning on being “sick” tomorrow. Guess they don’t want to see their SWN friends get laid off. We have all seen enough of this. Seems like laying off good honest hardworking people are the only thing our CEO is good at and he seems to be an expert at clogging and plunging the toilet LOL
I have faith in our leadership, particularly our toilet plunging back to back champion, as they will do the right thing. After all, we’re R2, the right people doing the right things! I have booked a surprise trip for my family in July and I will use my mid year bonus to cover the costs! God bless y’all!

The whispers I’m hearing are turning into more full fledged groans. According to an unnamed source looks like Thursday the 20th there will be cuts, and not just cuts from the egg frittata casserole. Gives a buffer between 4th of July.

Me too. Removed all personal items. Strange as I was doing this I have noticed quite a few other people have done the same. Not if but when!
Typically June is an ideal month to have layoffs. I’d expect some of those rumors to come to fruition soon. I’ve already devoided my workspace of all personal items. Good luck all!

We have heared these whispers and rumors going on 3-4 years now. There’s been layoffs and stuff nobody can’t tell me their ain’t no more layoffs coming. I’m a third generation gas worker. I just want my paycheck on Friday so i can take the ol lady to the picture show. Mr way tootin his own harn for being his own savior. That ain’t right.
