Why is DXC so willing to get rid of its best employees? Other companies will make sure to keep their best no matter what and DXC can't wait to see them walk through the door to never return.
Long-term, that kind of business strategy spells certain disaster. I guess nobody here is really thinking about the future, though...

The only employee worth anything is Mikey. He single handedly is responsible for all success.
As such all other employees are not the best employees and can simply be replaced with random other people and the company will keep functioning just perfectly.
Thinking about the future? Sure, Mikey is thinking about the future. His future. Living in all those multi-million dollar homes he keeps buying that he buys with money taken from everyone else's raises.
It's not about people, its all about cutting costs. some of the best employees will be paid more and therefore DXC saves more money by getting rid of them. DXC seem to think they can cut their way to prosperity.
DXC has never had a business strategy - 'sell more Digital stuff' is NOT a strategy,
Sadly for those involved, the DXC story will not end well.
The company doesn’t care, management have staff reduction as part of their Goals. They dogmatically lay off staff, knowing they will be short staffed, and will have to re-employ others (more cheaply). It’s the DXC way.
They care nought for Employees, only the Shareholders.
