Each time we have hit this low in stock price we have a RIF or some sort of reduction....any word of that happening before the town hall ?
Layoffs started at Noble Energy today
With the moral level being where it is, and then top it off no LTI?!? July and August shall be interesting to watch.
I doubt there will be a lay-off in the near future but I have doubts there will be an LTI grant this year due to stock price. Anyone disagree?
Whoa! What happened? $500MM? Anyone care to share?
I wouldn’t mind letting some of the legacy personnel volunteer for early retirement :)...
Denbury has had layoffs since oil prices crashed in 2014, in which we laid off at least as many as Pioneer during their recent layoff (the only one they had in that time frame).
Pioneer had 27% laid off this year including early retirement packages. Odd with this being a "good" oil price year in comparison with the last few. They might be positioning for a sale or large merger though so I wouldn't say layoffs are needed across the industry
