If you are subject to the layoff ,please be informed If your retirement eligible, you need to request a 'retirement benefit package' HR handles the details diifferently .HR will not offer you this option you must ask for it. Otherwise you lose the funds you might have accrued over the years.

forced or voluntary? Are they offering you a package to retire early?
I don’t know if that is accurate. I specifically inquired about this when I learned about ky RIF and I was told it would be automatically offered to me before my RIF benefits ran out.
