Anyone who was recently laid off or at risk of getting laid off, do not worry because job market is so hot outside. I was able to get 4 higher paying job offers within a month of getting laid off. Good luck to you all!

Probably a India National or a re-badge Cognizant/Deloitee to Anthem!!
Believe in yourself and do not underestimate your experience. Also, it is very important to brand yourself. It's important to identify your strengths and passion. I wish everyone the best in their job hunt.
Today is “Judgement Day” again ... best of luck to us all.
I can can confirm. After a few months of looking I received an offer for quite a bit more than I am making now. There's a lot of places that value the experience you get from working for a place like Anthem. Unfortunately Anthem isn't one of them. I know it's petty, but I hope the brain drain they're going to experience from all these layoffs and being a cheap miserable company bites them in the rear.
Waiting for tomorrow. They are making it difficult to even get a lateral move or promotion. Has anyone seen the ridiculous questions they ask for on an application? They are really looking to get jobs filled from outside. I have started preparing by going to YouTube, Udemy and Lynda to brush up my skills.
Unfortunately IT Jobs in CA are not that “HOT” from what I can tell specially for old dinosaurs like myself who still works on mainframes.
@ZpGwgom Thank you for your encouragement.
Yes. I am in California.
Are you in California by any chance ?
