So now the company is doing its own secret shopping to weed out people who can't perform in a short-staffed, miserable environment. And to go after long-term employees who are making too much money.

The Store manager at one of the NY stores did just that. Just quit, no notice, nothing.
Later they started a rumour he was fired for stealing, but I don't believe it. After all the BS this company has put people through, I can imagine people just leaving in a huff.

If corporate put as much thought and time into improving customer service & treating their employees like they matter,as they do trying to figure out how to get rid of you ,maybe the company would be salvageable.

These bogus mystery shops are the next lay-off wave... Sites like this are preventing a one fell swoop lay-off like February 2018.
