Certain. The hotel for NSM confirmed no. of rms was cut by 40% to match 40% of reps being let go.

Are you certain or just speculating?

The layoff ffor reps will be bigger than last year. They will actually cut a significant amount of reps this time. hardly any reps were touched in previous layoffs. Think about it- how many reps does each state need, especially when generalist. 2 max.

So far no scheduled townhall meeting. Maybe the lay-off won’t be as massive as last year??

The flat bonuses are by design. C-appy, flat bonuses at the beginning, then go over to AIP which s---s a-- even worse bc 1. its less money & 2. its dependent on the Pearson dinosaur making its #. There is a method to the boys-at-the-top vision for Pearson. If you think otherwise, you need to ask who is really dumb in this equation.

Meaning flat bonuses again? I'm not sure it's worth it, unless you were a rep who was never used to going over goal.

Yes. Everyone left will be generalists. Last years re-org never made sense and was one of the dumbest realignments Pearson has done. And that’s saying a lot. Upside is everyone left will get paid their bonuses again since it’s all changing 😂

Are the hybrid positions going away? It looks like it! What a cluster! Pearson strikes again. Just give me the damn severance and let’s get this over with!

Any estimate on what percentage of salesforce will be let go?

So lay off more reps and then the remaining reps just get a truck load of more work.... -_-

No, hence the word reorganization. Just because you're a generalist now, doesn't mean your guaranteed your job. But all reps will be generalists moving forward.

So anyone who is a generalist now is safe from a layoff? That can't be the whole story.

Has anyone heard about DSS changes?

Yes, reps will definitely be reorganized to generalists or laid off early next week. It should have happened long ago. Last years rep reorganization was a complete disaster.

Do we really think it will be announced Monday or are you just speculating? Do we think there will be any changes to the rep incentive plans?
