Has anyone heard if June 18th is the next day of job cuts happening?

Has anyone heard if June 18th is the next day of job cuts happening? Will it done the same way (get a meeting notice, have someone stop by your desk and ask 'Do you have a minute?' and then in a flash, a career is over? Has anyone heard what kinds of numbers this next round of cuts will be (whether June 18th or any other date)? Will this round focus more heavily on GSRs who are older, higher salaries with 25+ years of service and bigger pensions? Not knowing is just the very worst....

Does anyone have more info on the questions @ZiFqSvV-xbn asked in his original post? I’m especially curious will it be done the same way.

So...I can't speak for the rest of IT in general, but if you are in IT Operations, it is unlikely, close to impossible, that any other layoffs are coming. Multiple leadership sources in both ITO and OCIO have stated layoffs are DONE.

For ITO, the week of June 17 is global leadership meetings here in NA. The leadership team will be tied up with that and have a full agenda. I highly doubt they would leave those meetings to fire more people. Breathe easier.

There are rumors of things 6 months out, a year out, but who knows for sure.

There are people working who are stressed out every single day not knowing if and when they might be layed off or let go. Anyone who finds fun in making up false news to scare these people should stop.

Yes, I have heard that June 18th is the next date they will start too finish up the layoffs in IT (if you recall, Kumar sent a note the same day Hachet did saying some parts of IT would need until June to complete their tasks)

On the IT side, all I know is that Agency and GSR are targeted this round.. i’m sure it will follow a similar pattern among the GSR (mix of newer people and older people) - but the shocker to many folks. You need to prepare as if you are gone....maybe take vacation. that week?
