Thread regarding Nokia Corp. layoffs

Optical not hiring experienced laid-off internal Mobil Network employees but young engineers and H1B, why?

Some Optical locations in USA are NOT hiring experienced laid-off internal Mobil Network employees but young engineers and H1B, why? Only selective few who have connections (with MN mangers who are now mangers in Optical) are being hired and others who don't have the connection but have years of experience being turned away. Why does Nokia USA HR let this happen? It should be a fair system for all who are qualified for the job. I can easily name ten people who got the job due to connection without any Optical experience from MN.

Nokia management doesn't know what it's doing, every few months, the work gets shifted around like musical chairs. One day it's in Finland, the next day it goes to France, the next day it goes to China, the next day it goes to Poland, and lands in India, but wait, that's not the end. The end is when it finally gets outsourced to India (at least for now) but we all know the true end is when it gets outsourced to Africa but that's only my opinion.

Over 15 yrs ago, Lucent Mobility didn't want to hire experienced laid-off internal optical employees and close Holmdel building. Do you call that a bias? History just repeat itself.

why Nokia Nobility product p-ss-d off their customers? Quality issue, bad services, bad managements or falling behind technology?

People in Optical seem to have a bias against people that have been laid off. Of course, the Finnish executives have a bias against any American worker. High-cost region, high-cost region! That is why they have a US layoff every other month while not giving any wage increase for 10 years. Just bonuses and tiny 1% if you are lucky. NOK is going nowhere fast. In Mobility, they have p-ss-d off their customers and will suffer. Next, they will probably start sending optical work to China and Poland. The end is nigh.
